When not in use, the retractable cleaning nozzle head sits flush with the inner walls of the equipment being cleaned (such as spray dryers, cyclone separators, fluidized beds, storage tanks, piping, etc.). During operation, this retracted position ensures no interference with the process and eliminates product holdup. During the cleaning cycle, water is pumped to the nozzle under pressure, forcing the nozzle head to extend into the correct position to clean the equipment. Once the water supply is cut off, the nozzle head automatically retracts to its original position.
